Faculty GUR Group: World Issues—learning widely, living ethically, advocating actively! (part 1)

Shirley Osterhaus, (Fairhaven) will present “World Issues—learning widely, living ethically, advocating actively!” offered by the Faculty GUR Group. Please join your colleagues from across campus to explore excerpts of her course and reflect with participants on the instructional methods she employs.

This GUR class, grounded in justice, human rights and activism, is accompanied by the World Issues Forum speaker series that has hosted, over the past 13 years, 300+ visionaries, activists, and scholars who have stretched students' minds and hearts.

All faculty and staff are invited to attend this two-part “mini course” offered on two dates, each covering different material. Attend both or either:

** PART 2: Tues., May 20, 3:30-4:30 PM, Humanities 108
