WEBINAR - Creating Experiential Learning Using Social Media

Time: 10/25/2013 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Location: Viking Union 567

Social media tools, including Twitter, Facebook, Google+, and Pinterest are changing the way students and faculty members communicate, share ideas, and build networks. As with many other technologies, the educational community has harnessed the potential of these resources to improve teaching and learning. We will showcase unique uses of social media in student learning. You will learn ways you can use social media to create experiential learning activities, improve student engagement that extends outside of the classroom, and develop community and professional networks.
Join us for this 90-minute "site connection" to a live webinar by Academic Impressions, sponsored by the Center for Instructional Innovation and Assessment, Academic Technology, and Extended Education. Registration is not required.
