Time: 3/12/2013 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM
Location: HH245

Paul Piper of Western Libraries/Learning Commons, will lead this interactive workshop focused on garnering the power of the “search” in Western Libraries’ article databases, as well as via advanced Google searches. Take this opportunity to design or re-work an assignment just in time for Spring Quarter, or simply learn how to open the doors of exploration while focusing on the results you need. Featured databases will include: JSTOR, Web of Science, GoogleScholar, and Academic Search Complete. This session is set for 1 to 1 ½ hours in a computer lab; stay longer for supported time on task for your own work.
